We don't purchase the AutoCAD products at all, because they're too expensive for home / hobbyist use.Д«ut, many of us are aspiring architects at heart, and many, if offered the chance to 'play' with the product and learn it, might someday become full fledged architects or at least draftsmen. Right now, there are hundreds, maybe thousands of people like me in the U.S. I would like this version to be upgradeable to the fully licensed, commercial version, at a later time. What I would like to see, is a fully-functional 2D/3D version of the Architectural Desktop program, specifically priced and licensed for home / hobbyist users. Is there a possibility of Autodesk making available a non-commercial, home-user, hobbyist version available, at a price that's comparible to the other off-the-shelf 2D/3D drafting programs? If I ever do go into the 'business', I would then be happy to pay the asking price, to make my current 'hobbyist' drawings commercially available.
